Sevas Beyond the Temple

या देवी सर्वभूतेषु शक्ति-रूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः॥

yā devī sarva-bhūteṣu śakti-rūpeṇa saṃsthitā
namas tasyai namas tasyai namas tasyai namo namaḥ

To that Devi who abides in all beings in the form of Shakti,
Namaskarams to Her, Namaskarams to Her, Namaskarams to Her, again and again.

The vision of Dharma–saṃrakṣaṇa is inseparable from Deśa–saṃrakṣaṇa. Dharma cannot remain confined to temples, rituals, or sādhanā alone — it must flow into the lives of people, animals, and the land itself. The true revival of Śākta–dharma and Bhairava–tattva lies in protecting — and empowering — the vulnerable, as well as nurturing the sacred.

Guided by this principle, KBUF carries forward sevā initiatives that weave the spiritual into the social:

Supporting underprivileged women

We distribute hygiene products and medicines to women who are from financially weaker backgrounds, helping them to a life of dignity and freedom from hardships.

Gośālā Support

Cows are integral to our dharmic and cultural fabric. We supply fodder and essentials to gośālā-s, ensuring their well-being and honouring their sacred place in society.

Care for Stray Animals

True compassion in Dharma extends to all beings. KBUF supports organizations that protect and nurture stray dogs, embodying a guardian spirit toward the voiceless.

Support for Elders

KBUF supports elders in need with food, groceries, medicine, and essential services, ensuring they live with dignity and care.

Support for Antyeṣṭi Karma with Dignity

For orphans and the elderly who pass without family or means, KBUF ensures that last rites are performed with care and reverence — aligning with the Dharmaśāstra/Smṛti tradition in which antyeṣṭi is the final saṃskāra, performed so every being departs with honor.

Through these initiatives, KBUF manifests Shri Rajarshi Nandy’s vision: a living Dharma that safeguards both the sacred and the social fabric of Bhārata.

Our sevā is not charity — it is an offering, a sacred duty that links every act of protection, whether of kṣetra, gośālā, orphan or elder, temple or village, to the greater mission of Dharma–saṃrakṣaṇa.
